The idea for ECS came from Daniel Hoviss of Dosolutions in Putney.
Daniel is involved in many renewable energy and conservation projects in his roles as a web/technology developer and advisor to various energy groups, Town Energy Coordinator for Putney, chairman of the Putney Energy Committee and key participant in the Windham Energy Group. In these capacities, Daniel is in contact with many of the leading renewable energy innovators and contractors in the region.

The idea of bringing together multi-discplinary groups and individuals who are all invested in delivering renewable energy technologies (and greener buildings) to the market and to discuss ways in which there may be synchronicity and efficiencies in working together was born out of the Putney Eco-Village project.

Daniel's ideas have resulted in several brainstorming meetings with a number of interested parties and the momentum is now carrying us to the next level.

There has never been a better time for growth in the business of
Renewable Energy and Energy Conservation.  
The national mood is right, the interest and need is strong
and there will be substantial resources available to fund green projects.
